The NDIS supports people with a permanent and significant disability that affects their ability to take part in everyday activities. They will work with you to identify supports you need to live your life. Supports may help you achieve goals in many aspects of your life, including independence, involvement in your community, education, employment and health and wellbeing.
The NDIS gives you more choice and control over how, when and where your supports are provided. and gives you certainty you will receive the support you need over your lifetime.
IC CARE is a registered provider with the National Disability Insurance Agency. We are here to give you a free helping hand to comprehend the NDIS. We can support you to achieve the goals in your NDIS plan. If you are confused by the NDIS and need assistance to understand what it is all about, we can help you. We will work alongside you, the key people in your life, and your support workers to help you reach your goals. We support clients and their carers to make their own informed choices about the types of care and services they need or would like.
Caring staff and volunteers can assist NDIS participants with access to transport services. We can accompany clients to social activities and outings, such as the gym, library, movies, meetings, groups or just go out for coffee and/or lunch. We can accompany clients to appointments, and we are also able to provide wheelchair accessible transport for people who require the use of a wheelchair to travel.
If you have your approved NDIS plan, you or your support coordinator can contact IC Care to arrange a meeting.
