IC Care is a small not-for-profit community organisation working in the Wollondilly and Camden Local Government Areas. This service supports frail older people (aged 65 years and over; 50 and over for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people) who require assistance with daily living to remain living independently at home and in the community. IC Care aims to connect clients who identify as rural, remote and/or socially isolated to services. The outcome being that clients will live in their homes longer without the need for supported accommodation, whilst also maintaining connections with the local community. IC Care supports the community by providing a diverse range of support services and social events for older people in the community.
